PinagHusayan 2024 (PH2024) is a celebration of creativity, learning, and entrepreneurial pursuits to equip Filipino creatives with the essential skills to thrive. The event was held last April 6, 2024, at the Ensayo Creative Hub, DTI Philippine Trade Training Center in Pasay City. Virtual access passes were also available for those who wanted to participate remotely.
The conference brought together students, established creatives, and aspiring entrepreneurs, echoing the commitment of the speaker lineup to cultivate a space for learning, nurturing creativity, and exchanging ideas.
The event kicked off with independent art critic and curator, Marian Pastor Roces, urging creatives to hone their "BS" detection skills. She emphasized spotting misleading information and embracing skepticism. Kia Abrera, Braveworks, Inc. founder and CEO, talked about finding purpose and building personal brands, offering strategies for engaging content creation. Legal insights from Atty. Gio Gomez and CPA Maricris Labawan emphasized essential entrepreneurship skills, covering contracts and financial management. Our founder, Leah Rasay, closed with a call to align creative journeys with core values like empathy and courage.
PH2024 empowered creatives with invaluable knowledge, and a promise of future editions filled with even more insights and growth opportunities.
