The Ateneo de Manila University is a private, Catholic research university and basic education institution. Founded in 1859 by the Jesuits, it is the second-oldest Jesuit-administered institution of higher learning in the Asia-Pacific. The Ateneo Law Grand Alumni ’96 Homecoming virtual event for the Jubilarian classes highlighted the resilient and selfless Atenean spirit amid the pandemic. Despite the physical distance, it successfully fostered a strong sense of connection and solidarity among alumni and celebrated their shared values of instilling hope and commitment to serving others.
The theme “Big, Bold, and Blue” pays homage to Ateneo’s trademark blue color and symbolizes a collective gathering marked by boldness and generosity in these challenging times. Aside from managing the event, the project encompasses poster designs and audio-visual presentations introducing the event, showcasing online performances, and highlighting the beneficiaries, including Ateneo Law Alumni scholars and underprivileged youth and their families.
